Wednesday. Cmdr. Robert Ramirez III was 47.
Foul play is not suspect in his death, which is under investigation,

The Department of Defense announced today the death of a Marine
who was supporting Operation Inherent Resolve.
Staff Sgt. Samuel D. Lecce, 32, of Jefferson, Tenn., died Dec.
19, 2022, as the result of a non-combat related incident in
Iraq. This incident is under investigation.
Lecce was assigned to the 3rd Marine Raider Battalion, Marine
Forces Special Operations Command, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

Army identified the teenage soldier who died last week at Fort
Jackson. Pvt. Danielle A. Shields, an active duty soldier

at 11 p.m., according to the Army. Shields, an
18-year-old from Decatur, Georgia, was assigned to Delta

An 18-year-old Marine recruit died in September
after collapsing during training at Camp Pendleton,
the Marines said in a statement late Saturday.
Pfc. Javier Pong "became unconscious and unresponsive" while

According to a report from
local newspaper Summit Daily, the speed
glider that died in the area of Breckenridge
over the weekend has been identified as
Zacharia Bolster, 26, of Arvada. According
to a family member, Bolster was a Naval
Special Warfare Operator that deployed with
the Navy Seals.

while he deployed with the Seals, he was not

A 17-year-old National Guard soldier
died after she collapsed during military training at
Fort Jackson in South Carolina last weekend, a
report said. Alyssa Cahoon, who was a
private with the Pennsylvania Army National Guard,
suffered the unknown medical episode during a
training exercise on Aug. 20, Fort Jackson

horrific four-vehicle crash in Anchorage, Alaska, last week.
