THANG for T.618, requests the Guerrilla Cell of Son
Dong Vill, [Son Tinh Dist, Quang Ngai Prov], to evacuate a
a US POW, who was captured by Son Tinh and Binh Son
Dist's, to T.12 POW Camp in the night of 27 Jun 67.

a cadre of T.12, to Unit V.409. HO NGOC CHUONG was in
charge of evacuating BON, a US POW, to Z POW Camp.
Item #3: Notebook with entries dated from Jan to
Jul 67, prepared by U/I member[of T12 POW Camp],
reveals the following:
The allowances granted to Allied POW's [other
than RVNAF] consisted of 21 Kgs of huske rice, 240$00
for food, 15$00 for cigarettes and 30$00 for other
necessities, per month, and two sets of local pyjamas
and two sets of underwear [a year], and a Western white
suit on their release. Cash entries indicate that
11,622$00 was spent on good and med supplies in Jan,
11854$00 in Feb, 12,537$00 in Mar, 10,444$00 in Apr,
10,472$00 in May , 10,628$00 in Jun, and 13,259$00 in
Jul 67. BON, [Rank] an American prisoner, received
one set of clothing and a towel on 28 Jun and on 8 Jul
67. The camp received 500 Kgs of husked rice and 480
Kgs of rice substitutes on 7 Jul 67.
