Steven J. Stroub  SP/5 U.S. Army 1st Cav was a POW for a short period of
time.  He was murdered by the NVA shortly after capture...I was there and
witnessed this incident and ended up going north for 61 months.. and being
released march 1973... I just want Steven to be recognized for his short time
POW status before being executed by the NVA.

2021- Steven  enlisted in the Army April 18, 1966. He was a SP5 with 15th Admin Co, 1st Air Cavalry. His last duty assignment was news director of Armed Forces radio in An Khe.  He earned an ARCOM and Purple Heart. His grave is located at Oak Hill Cemetery in Watertown, WI.
