QUESTION EVERYTHING !!!

Claims to have been a tunnel rat in Vietnam but also wears LRRP and Ranger Shoulder Patches. He also wears the Jungle School Patch from the school down in Panama? Known for designing the local Vietnam Veterans Living Memorial as well http://www.vva.org/TheVeteran/2001_07/northcarolina.htm

VVA Chapter Affiliation: 0530

".... The first glimpse I saw of his uniform shows a Ranger qualification tab over the 1st Cav. COMBAT patch on his RIGHT shoulder?  Not lately!  The Ranger tab is worn exclusively over......  Love the generic MACV-SOG patch above his right breast pocket too.  Can't tell what that patch on his right breast pocket is, but it ISN'T a Jungle Operations (JOTC) qualification patch.  What appears to be one of those generic flea market LRRP tabs is on his left breast pocket flap.

Can't make out what the flash (or whatever) on his black beret is.  Another combat field wireman!"

"...he's wearing Master Jump Wings.  Highly unusual, as he would need to have served with an airborne unit to have had enough jumps to wear the Master Wings...

...Ranger Tab, then he's incorrect as the Tab is never worn on the right shoulder since it's a qualification badge, not a combat patch....  So if he indeed claims he is a "Tabbed" Ranger, the only way anyone gets that one is to graduate from the Army Ranger School at Ft Benning.  There is no other way. Thus, he would have a class nbr and date. ... wearing the LRRP patch on his left pocket.  Again, this is not an authorized patch."

10/30/04: Seen at local Community center (located next to the local Vietnam Memorial)  dressed up in his Tunnel Rat/Ranger/LRRP/Senior Parachutist/MACVSOG/SFC/E-7 costume driving "the biggest-newest-shinest black friggin Mercedes I have ever seen" complete with a 100% disabled veteran plate on it!
