Dolan, Robert Edward

Claims: U.S. Navy Seal; Prisoner of War in Viet Nam; was on a special mission to kill a Vietnamese General;  member of any Special Operations Group (SOG).

Told his tale to a group of young Marines at the 29 Palms Marine Corp Base. Especially, how he conducted secret operations in and out of Cambodia and Laos.

He told me he was a POW in Nam - that he was in one of those cages in the water.  But, the amazing man that he is, he managed to get out, kill all the guards and release all the other prisoners.  That made him a hero and he was invited to all kinds of high ranking military dinners, etc.   He regularly leads his current group of followers on a ride to the VA Hospital and makes a big show of walking around 'cheering up' the patients there with his fantastic stories.

.......  WELCOME HOME. you make 3 SOG members I know of here,  I was MACV SOG CCN/Phoenix 66 to 69 and Graham an AZ RC was  stationed MACV SOG 63 to 66, which I believe would make him older that both of us lol

Dolan is known to ride carrying a weapon. Did so at Lake Havasu, AZ while on a PGR mission.

His 'best buddy' is a guy named George Daggett  Daggett claims to have been a Navy Seal .   (NOT)

This imposter was the Arizona State Captain for the PGR.  ....  feel he is a disgrace and an embarrassment to the Patriot Guard Riders and has no business attending the funerals of the heroes returning from Iraq, let alone leading Veterans and Civilians under a batch of lies. 

These fallen Soldiers and their Families deserve more than this person standing on their hallow ground.  How dare he!!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, Here ya'll go!  This is the list of the Captains and Help On The Homefront Officers.  Those new to their spots will be marked by an * so take the time to send em an email and thank them.  Get to know those in your area, and let them know what you want and can do in that area.  These folks work very hard, some doing many varied tasks for the PGR.   Each one is a Ride Captain then has other duties, please give them your support!
And I am truly honored to know and work with each and every one of them.

August 2006 -
Dolan supposedly stepped down as the Patriot Guard Riders (AZ) State Captain but he still rides with and is still a member of the PGR today and no change can be located - see above list.

Dolan has been given the honor of escorting (former LA Dodger) Rick Monday and his family while they travel with the American Flag that Rick saved from burning at Dodger Stadium in April 1974.
