He posted the Ribbon bar on the following links. http://www.chiefscoalition.com/Forums/index.php?act=idx
and

This wonder boy has ribbons displayed
from several branches of service.
For instance: Army Commendation and
Achievement ribbons, Air Force Achievement ribbon, Army Service Ribbon,
Air Force Training Ribbon, AND a Navy/Marine Corps Combat Action Ribbon.
Hell, he's got so many achievement. commendation awards, that, if he WAS
legitimate, he must have been a professional brown nose.
Then lets add in the Vietnam Service
Ribbon with three bronze service stars, AND the Southwest Asia Service
Ribbon with four bronze service stars.
And another…the Army Non-Commissioned
Officer Professional Development Ribbon with the numeral 4. I really
don't think so.
In my book, unless he can show VERIFIED
proof of all these awards, he's not only a liar, but a damn poor liar.

=========================
I could be wrong but I don't
think the term "MEU" was used in the Nam era....and the 1st
Marines were not part of the "5th" anything..
The 5th Marine regiment was in Nam
of course.
=============
1st Marine Regiment was part of the 1st
Marine Division. They left RVN in May 1971.
No such unit as 5th MEU in RVN.
The photo may be part of a Recon team, but
if he was a Corpsman with the 1st Marines, how could he have been a
Doc appearing to be in a Recon team? He would have been with
H&S Company, either 1st or 3rd Recon Bn.

|
his statements:
I also believe with 2 Purple Hearts
and the damn Navy Cross along with other badges of courage that I have
the absolute right to say how I feel.. I EARNED IT.
"SEMPER FI" ONCE A DOC ALLWAYS A DOC.... DRR FMF-HN2 1st Recon
BN. 1st Marine Div. 1969-1970 that would be me.
That's a fact bro..... No 40 year old could even understand it, Unless
they were Recon anyway...
But we grew up very quiickly in those days under those circumstances for
sure.... You know I have talked more indepth about this stuff here in
the last couple of days than I have since my last unit reunion at the
wall in D.C. in 1999... I really don't know how I feel about that.
We were just about everywhere including places and missions that are
still classified to this day...When they needed a job done in stealth
they sent us. Based out of Da Nang,I corps...
Actually thanx to a phone call from my post commander at the VFW I
will be wearing my Dress Uniform with all of my Ribbons and Medals and
Carrying the American Flag in our Veterans day parade here...

you know the bottom half of your dd214...? Well mine is full to the
max bro...
My wife will be taking Pics on both the Marine Corps B-Day ceremony of
me as well as the Veterans day Parade ofcourse, I will be in my Full
Dress uniform with all my Cabbage at both ceremonies, I will post
them. The two ribbons you aren't seeing are my
Navy Expert Rifle and Navy Expert pistol ribbons.
Dam. There are generals who don't have that much salad bro. Dam.
[this is his response to the generals comment.
]

That's Recon for 'ya...
Should give you an Idea of the extent of my PTSD bro....on a darker
note.
Bro I was the combat Corpsman(Medic) cross
trained Navy- Marine Corps... I did my training then had to do recon
training with my unit at pendalton, then RVN.
Force Recon units also include U.S. Navy Corpsmen as integrated combat
medical personnel, and, like corpsmen in all Marine Corps units, these
corpsmen receive the exact same training as the members of the units
they support.wikipedia
My recon Handle was and still is Little Doc... because of my age at
the time.
Now as for me, I don't personally have to
worry about my case more than likely, as the stressors were proven and
granted by a federal Veterans Admin. Judge, then sent to the Tiger
remand team for further development then on to the VBA for rating...
Then re-appealed twice at the VARO for the ammnt. of disability. Then
re- appealed for permanency and totality...
that's a total of 7 appeals with 4 congressman and two senators,
involved in my case, and a 7 year fight, and that was with
Congressional Expediancy on the case... for what I was promised in
1970, interesting huh??..
But what about the Rest of these guys? they put us through so much
shit including
having to re-live these stressors every day for a very long time. If
you don't have PTSD going in, you'll sure as hell have it before they
are done.... 90% of the Veterans who file claims with the VA drop them
because of this bullshit, alot of them die from either Agent Orange
involved diseases, or commit suicide in despair and NOW THIS????!!! In
a kinder reality they should say: FUCK IT, LINE US UP AND SHOOT US IN
THE HEAD AND BE DONE WITH IT... No More PAIN.
It is a combination of both I think..... You see I never told anyone
anything about my Being a Veteran for thirty years, because of the
treatment I got from people that I did tell... Being born and raised
in Cali. (the Hippie state) we were looked at as Murderers Baby
killers and worse... for years we as Vietnam Veterans were considered
nothing but prison fodder. So I had to hide it for most of my
life...Not too mention the non-treatment of the disorder for thirty
years, due to the VA not
letting Veterans nor the public know about it, and not treating it as
a disease.
Did it have a negative affect on me??....... what do you think bro....
I have been given the permanent and total status because quote:This
man has lived out his stressors since 1970.. and The resulting PTSD
has only worsened
to a degree of permenancy, This decision is based upon VAOPC doctors
reports from 1999-2004 and VAHC doctors reports from Albuquerque VAMHC
2004-2005
as well as the previous evidence to this claim. the Claiment is hereby
give 100%
permanent and total disability due to Post Traumatic Stress disorder
to be granted with Chapter 35 benefits. Retroactive to May 10, 2004.
Yes it really does suck, to have to have lived like this since I was
an 18 year old kid.
I belong to the DAV(disabled american veterans) and The Legionaires
and The V V A(vietnam veterans of america)
And the Order of the Puple Hearts.

We know all about your less than ONE YEAR
service in the Navy. We know about the false and FRAUDULENT ribbon
rack, which you have posted. We know that you have made up the stories
of heroism to advance your career, and we know that you have
plagiarized other's work.
No REAL hero would ever sink to these depths.
Are you aware that your blatant lies can, and probably will lead to
Federal charges under the Stolen Valor Law? Look it up.
Your lies are documented, your alleged ribbons
are in the incorrect order, and from three branches of the military.
My guess is that you may be receiving some
unwanted popularity and publicity from REAL veterans and heroes, who
are dedicated to exposing frauds like you.
You served and now you betray everyone, past and
present, who served honorably. Believe me, some of these people are
REAL heroes, and some make Hollywood's Rambo look like a crying baby.
My advice, which I doubt you will take, is to
make a formal and PUBLIC apology for your lies. Do this as soon as
possible, and MEAN IT! Then demonstrate that you are truly sorry for
these lies.
Do not trudge any one but you through the slime
you created. Denying is not apologizing. Let me outline
what you now owe the People of The United States of America for your
actions:
1) Knowingly and willfully made a false,
fraudulent, and fictitious material statement and representation; 18
U.S.C. §1001. Not more than 5 years imprisonment, and/or $250,000
fine, 1 year supervised release, and special assessment of $100.
2) Possessing insignia, without authority;
of the design prescribed by the head of the Department of
Defense; 18 U.S.C. §701. Not more than 6 months imprisonment,
and/or $5,000 fine, Special assessment of $50.
3) Knowingly wearing decorations and medals,
without authority, authorized by Congress for the armed forces of the
United States; 18 U.S.C. §704(a). Not more than 1 year
imprisonment, and/or $100,000 fine; 1 year supervised release, and
special assessment of $25.
And then, you may be prosecuted under the
provisions of S. 109-1998; The Stolen Valor Act.
This will be my last correspondence with you.
However, it may not be the last you receive regarding these issues.
Lets hope you do the right thing.
Remember...no one is doing this to you. You have
done it to yourself by stealing the honor of others.

My Work Has Been Plagiarized
I have just discovered that my work has been plagiarized and am not
sure how to proceed to taken action against the perpetrator. From 1980
to 2000, I was a Veterans' Services Representative for Yuba &
Sutter Counties in Marysville, CA. In short, it was my job to fight
the VA in an effort to force them to pay our veterans the compensation
they were due. I was extremely popular with the veteran population and
was extremely successful in attaining their long awaited benefits. On
Memorial Day in 1999, I attended a special service at a local church,
dedicated to the memory of all veterans. The service was very moving
and after leaving, I began jotting down lines of poetry that
ultimately became a fairly lengthy poem that I entitled, A Place They
Called Vietnam. I posted the poem on the bulletin board in my office
and began to have clients requesting copies. Soon, the poem had
circulated amongst the veterans receiving PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress
Disorder) treatment at the Sacramento VA Outpatient Clinic (where I
was a guest speaker on several occasions). Some months later, I
received a new client by the name of David Ray Reed, who read the poem
and said that he would like to put it to music. A few days later, he
had actually done so and then advised me that he had friends in the
recording industry and that he would like to record the song and split
the profits with me. I agreed, and my husband and I made the trip to
Prairie Sun Recording Studio in Cotati, CA and watched while David
recorded the song. From my understanding, he even found investors to
put out the money for the purpose of circulating the song and getting
it out over the airwaves. As Mr. Reed was a recovering alcoholic and
living at 'The Progress House' in Coloma, CA., I probably should have
been leery of him from the onset, but after all, he was able to record
the song at a legitimate studio, so I believed everything he said. A
few weeks later however, Mr. Reed disappeared with the investor's
money and owing the recording studio. I admonished myself for my own
idiocy and eventually forgot about it. A few years later however, I
was alerted by a veteran friend that David Ray Reed was touting, A
Place They Call Vietnam, as HIS song on the Internet (a site called,
My Red Hat ), and trying to sell copies of it. I immediately alerted
the webmaster at My Red Hat, and they pulled all information about Mr.
Reed off of their website. This evening, quite by accident, I
discovered that Mr. Reed is at it again. He has appeared on a
television show to promote his new album entitled, "Christmas in
Texas." This album includes the song, "A Place They Call
Vietnam." The song contains the words to the poem I wrote. You
can see this for yourself at http://www.lonestarmusic.com/album.asp?aid=4442,
and he is actually selling this song as his own work. I understand
that Mr. Reed now resides in Texas, while I live in Hoquiam, WA. I am
still in touch with some of my veteran clients in California, who well
remember that I wrote the poem before I ever met Mr. Reed, and I am
quite certain they would be more than happy to provide written
affidavits attesting to that fact. Further, I placed the poem in an
envelope and mailed it to myself in August of 1999. I still have that
envelope, stamped, postmarked and unopened. In addition, it appears
that Mr. Reed is touting himself as a disabled Vietnam veteran. I
remember from his VA claim that he was in the Navy and never saw the
slightest bit of action in Vietnam. Since his DD-214 is a matter of
public record, that point can easily be proven. I will appreciate any
guidance you are able to provide
