 - TX 03/2005: Claims to have been wounded in Afghanistan resulting in restriction to wheelchair.
Mr. Washington of El Paso, Texas was featured on the A&E television show Airlines episode "Battle of Wills" which aired on March 21, 2005. During the show Mr. Washington was constantly complaining to South West Airlines employees and stated to them he had been recently wounded in Afghanistan. When the airlines called his home to see if he required any special accomedations since he had been wounded in Afghanistan his family responded by stating that he had NOT been wounded in Afghanistan but rather had been injured falling off of a rooftop. As Mr. Washington overheard the conversation with A&E cameras upon him all he did was laugh.

Mr. Washington made mention that he was trying to get home to El Paso.

SPEC/SEC is seeking further information about Mr. Washington. We would like to know if he has made such claims at any other time. We would like to know if he has ever served in the US military and if so when and where.
