LaFiet, Beau Jon
aka |
MT | 2001 12/2005 |
POW, helicopter pilot, CIA, millionaire
He told us all about his life in the service, CIA, and was a millionaire. He was really good at his story. He said he had 100's of acres in Montana along the Yellowstone River. He said he wrote a book and was getting it published.
|
|
Reported - Beau lives on the farm he works at in
Corrales, NM. Beau lives at the farm in a room not much bigger than
the stables
are. Looks like a mobile home cut into 3rds and he got
1/3. Certainly does not live like a millionaire - and he doesn't
"own the farm."

Claims
Vietnam POW, Purple Heart, Desert Storm service.
Professor at Manatee Community College, Bradenton, FL. and a teacher for Manatee County Public Schools. ------------------------------------------------
Dr. Landers told our class that he was taken prisoner
by the North Vietnamese during the war. He said that they
tried to interrogate him but he refused to give them any information,
spitting in one of the interrogator's faces at some point. He said
that the interrogator pointed his gun at his head and pulled the
trigger, but the weapon was empty and it didn't fire. The Vietnamese
soldier allowed him to live for some reason and he was eventually
freed.
Dr. Landers said that he was in special
forces...
Dr. Landers also claimed to be a war planner during the
Gulf War. He claimed to have aided in designing some kind of strategy
used by coalition forces.
|
2006 reports
indicate he was in
Missouri before he came to Florida.
He had $45,000 in court judgments against him between 1998 and 2000.
His chiropractic license in Missouri
is no longer valid and he doesn't hold one in Florida; he no
longer seems to hold a K-12 public school teaching certificate either
(he's teaching at Manatee School for the Arts, it seems, which is a
charter school and probably exempt from the state's certificate
requirements).

| Leonard, Donald R. "Butch" | 09/2007 | OH |
Claims to be a POW of the Vietnam War, having spent 18
Months in a Steel Cage, being tortured in "unspeakable
ways", he claims to be part of Navy Special Forces, but when
asked if he was SEAL, he always answers, "No, one of the other
ones...." without specifying what Special Force he was a member
of.
He uses his "status "as a Vietnam Vet/POW to
pick arguments and confrontations with people and threatens people
with physical harm if they say or do anything to disgrace POW's/Vets
or the great country of USA.
Also Claims to be Cherokee Indian and that he grew up
on a Reservation, something no one has been able to confirm, He is
very active on the Powwow curcuit and seem to have a group of
followers that looks up to him because of his alleged history.
He also claims to have gotten away with a murder in a
barfight because of his status as a war hero. He claims he was
acquitted of all charges because he was a war hero, even though nobody
seems to have a recollection of a barfight ending up with anybody dead
in the time period Mr. Leonard specifies.
Mr.Leonard seems to build his entire life around his
POW story and talks about it continuously and EVERY chance he gets.

Subject:
RE: MARTY LAWRENCE LORENZ.. captured? ...this is the official word from DPMO The official U.S. government database of all POWs and MIAs from the Vietnam War does not list anyone by the name of Lorenz (or any spelling close to it). This official U.S. government database DOES, repeat DOES, contain the names of individuals who served with and for the CIA during the war. It also includes personnel who were held captive for very, very short periods of time. It includes personnel who wore the military uniform, and those who did not. It includes those who worked so-called classified missions, covert missions, and "black missions." It includes missionaries as well as foreign nationals whose cases are related to those of missing Americans. It includes personnel captured or lost in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and China. It includes those missing or lost at sea. It includes persons whose loss or capture incidents range from 1952 to 1988. This database was constructed during the war and refined throughout the years from reports by appropriate military or civilian authorities. It has been in existence for more than 30 years, and has been challenged dozens of times for "accuracy." It has never proven to have omitted a name that should be listed. |

Howard Lowe March 21, 1950 - Oct. 16, 2005
We say goodbye today to our fearless leader, friend and flag bearer, who
was always laughing, speeding ahead to scout the road and making it safe
for us to pass. This time he went over that beautiful ridge and
disappeared into the sunset setting the ultimate route we will all end
up taking. Pave the road our friend and save us a good parking spot.
Howard is survived by his family of friends and biker brothers and
sisters. He was born in Rockville, Maryland and lived in Texas for the
last 20 years. A former P.O.W., he served valiantly in Vietnam and
continued throughout his life to serve Vets all over the world. The
American flag he flew on the back of his bike was displayed for the
pride, dedication and honor for his country. Howard formed bikers for
vets, a bi-annual biker run for veterans supporting the Kerrville V.A.
Hospital. "Bikers for Vets, Let none be forgotten" ... that
was his motto. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the V.A. Hospital of
your choice Goodbye our friend, we will never forget you. Visitation
will be Thursday from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at the Austin-Peel and Son
Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at
Austin Peel and Son with Pastor Randy Miller officiating. Interment will
follow at the Onion Creek Cemetery near Manchaca, Texas. Austin Peel and
Son Funeral Home, Inc., 607 East Anderson Lane, Austin, Texas 78752

He has a business and
not only claims being a POW but also escaping and then being a POW
again as well as being wounded in action.
===================================
... have heard all the stories many times... Not
only are the claims on your site exactly what he used to say but there's
even more...
He told stories about when after discharged he was
spit on and beat up in a bar in his home town (somewhere in
PA).
He says he rode home on his Harley (sometimes the harly was run over by a pickup and he walked home) either way; He claims he got into his truck and headed back to where the 2 guys who beat him up lived. They were drinking beer on the front porch and he rammed them at 70MPH and killed them both (sometimes killed one and crippled the other). He said he was charged with vehicular homicide but the judge simply took away his license for ever. He claims he got into "trouble" and the judge said you can either go into the army or go to jail, he chose the army..
He claims while he was a POW the whole group of
soldiers escaped and all but 4 were shot. He says he was later
recaptured and released.
Depending on his story he either signed up for a
2nd tour while he was still overseas or when he came home he went
to see his mother and brother and immediately signed up again and
left that day.
John acts like a tough guy and talks like he can
kill you with his pinky 1000 different ways etc... saw him
back down and basically cower to a drunk who was at best his
size...
John Luchi is nothing more than a blowhard liar and
it makes me sick that people in my family have risked life and
limb to defend our freedom and his as well!
