Rick Golding (aka Graig Wolf/Gray Wolf) and Hushton Jackson live in Loman Idaho . They claim to be half brothers.... Both claim Army, POW's in Nam, have Purple Hearts, Rick claims a CMH and they both claim to be disabled Vets, both claim to have been in the 5th Special Forces in Nam, Rick claims to have been Honor Guard at Arlington. It's reported that every year just before Thanksgiving they go to Horseshoe Bend, Idaho City and Boise with phony DD 214's to Church's and anywhere else and get food and clothes and toy's, whatever they can get and the use the war Hero angle, then these dirt bags allegedly SELL what they got to poor people who should have received it free. They also panhandle bars and stores. They do this with dress Green uniform jackets on, with all the Army & Navy store metals they can get their hands on. They go as far as to leave one arm out of a sleeve like they lost an arm in war (they take turns at this). They have reportedly gone door to door in Boise collecting donations in the name of the VFW. Hushton Jackson was born in 1963 and he claims he was in Nam in 1968, he also left Leadville area of CO reportedly because family services wanted him for child abuse. Rick Golding is from up state New York and had to leave Texas reportedly because some Vets got close to skinning him... They both claim to have done training jumps out of special black op's aircraft that is classified, but didn't know what a c-119, c-130, or a c-141 was. They both claim to have been with the 5th SF and to have fought at hill 937 and they claim to have been there for the Tet offensive. Rick Golding claims to have been captured when the chopper he was a pilot of crashed at Son Tay prison rescue attempt. He also says he is a Karate expert and taught hand to hand combat at Fort Bragg. Reportedly neither have drivers license or known social security numbers. They live in a "compound" and also claim to have the missing 128 books of the Bible and a few wives each. They hide in Loman Idaho right across from the Sourdough Diner, (that is where their compound of old mobile homes are), neither of them work.... |
NEITHER were POW's nor SF. NEITHER served in Nam. Prelim investigation finds ANY military service doubtful. | ||||

FROM HIS BOOK:
Service number- 2058755
Grade - SSGT E-6
Claims to have been in the Marine Corps for 8 years with the 3rd Force Recon Company, and MACVSOG, completing 60 LRP's, and 28 behind the lines missions, completed 26 military schools and courses including Airborne/Ranger school, Jungle Warfare school, Amphibious Reconnaissance school, and operations against guerilla forces. He supposedly instructed Green Berets on Okinawa in hand-to-hand combat for 2 years. He wrote that he served a 22 month tour of duty in Vietnam. He goes on to say that, while attached to MACVSOG , he was a prisoner of war for about a month, then he escaped. He claims to have been wounded 3 times, each time receiving the Purple Heart and also had been awarded the Navy Cross, Silver Star, two Bronze Stars, Navy Commendation Medal with Combat "V", Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Palm, and the Presidential Unit Citation for the siege of Khe Sanh during the Tet Offensive in 1968, plus other unit and campaign awards, making him one of the Marine Corps most highly decorated Vietnam veterans. Then, he writes, after his escape from captivity, he made his way from the Mu Gia Pass(?) and was found by American soldiers. He writes that he was discharged in Aug of 1970, as an honorable discharge, but classified as RE-4(?) due to his psychiatric problems (Schizophrenia) When he was discharged from the various psychiatric hospitals and Walter Reed, he claims to have robbed the east-side branch of the Manufacturer's Bank in Detroit, where he lived. He said that the press called him the "Robin hood" bank robber, this was around May 23, 1978. He then wrote that he had threatened to blow up the federal building in the earlier 70's. He served time in Springfield, MS and Milan, Michigan. He claims to have killed many men with his hands and feet and to have gone outside the wire many times, alone, and killed record numbers of enemy personnel.
Why does a Marine have the Army Commendation Medal with "V"?

Received:
I met this guy thirty (30) some odd years
ago while he was serving time at the Federal Correctional Institution
(FCI) in Milan, Michigan, which is directly adjacent to U. S. 23 just
south of Ann Arbor, Michigan. I vividly remember him telling me
this exact same story back then.
Am trying to remember some thirty (30) or so year old events and conversations, which is very hard to do, but I seem to recall that he showed me some documents which indicated that he left active duty in the early 1970s as a Staff Sergeant (E-6) with six (6) or eight (8) years of service and a whole raft of medals, to include the Navy Cross Medal and the Silver Star Medal. However, am not sure if it was a DD-214—though I think it was—or if it had been altered since I was not attuned to the wannabee issue back then; as you all know it just wasn't popular to claim to be a Vietnam veteran in the late 1970s/early 1980s. Anyway, since this was before I knew about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), I never considered that he was a phony. I just thought he was a nut case, particularly since he came to Milan from the Federal Medical Center in Springfield, Missouri, where the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) keeps the nut cases, and since his case management team refused to release him on the compound, they kept him isolated in D Block—the “Bad Boy House”—while he was at Milan. My guess is that he has a very bad case of PTSD at the very least; it’s possible that he was adjudicated certifiably insane at one time and he could well be in relapse now. Tread real lightly around this guy; I definitely recall that the BOP staff was extremely concerned about him and if I recall correctly it was due to some violent incidents which occurred while he was at Springfield, if I’m not mistaken some staff got hurt trying to control/sedate/cuff this guy. ~~
--------------------------------------------------------
I just checked the roster for 3rd Recon which includes
3rd Force and there is a William T. James listed with and address in
Murray KY.
3rd Force was combined with 3rd Recon thus we were called 3rd Reconnaissance Bn (REIN) I can't attest to his claim for any awards however I do know that the only 3rd Recon units to receive the PUC for the seige at Khe Sanh were Bravo Co and the 3rd Platoon from Delta Co. that was attached to us ================ Absolutely
NO on both NX and SS. Doug Sterner ============= NOT A POW ========== Can confirm 2 bronze stars and Navy Comm w/ V. Appears that the citation that is (unsigned) enclosed is part of the award write up for the Silver Star but it was downgraded to bronze star (his second). |

============================ http://www.delawareonline.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060726/NEWS/607260378/1006/NEWS WILMINGTON -- The U.S. Attorney's Office said a Felton-area man has been indicted on charges of posing as a Marine Corps sergeant major and recipient of a Silver Star. The indictment said Dwight C. Johnson, 51, wore the uniform of a sergeant major, including a ribbon indicating he was awarded the Silver Star, the third-highest honor given by the Marines for bravery. The misdemeanor violation carries a sentence of up to six months in prison and a $5,000 fine. Johnson, according to prosecutors, did serve in the Marines from 1972 to 1976, but retired at the rank of lance corporal and received no decorations for bravery. Johnson was seen in September at the Navy/Marine Corps Reserve Center in Ogletown wearing the uniform with the improper rank and the unauthorized honor, according to court papers. Assistant U.S. Attorney Douglas McCann said the office was sending a message with the indictment, that "especially now in a time of conflict, you should only wear medals if you earned them." |

Auxiliarists Help Sea Cadets
by Donna Deyoe ADSO-CM, Fl 73, Div 7, Dist 13
John Jones addresses the cadets.
Several Auxiliarists from Division 7, D13, assisted
with the US Naval Sea Cadet Advanced Survival
Training held last year at Detroit Lake, OR. The Blueback Battalion of
the US Naval Sea Cadets, which holds its drills at MSO Group Portland,
Oregon, sponsored the training.
The Naval Sea Cadets (NSCC) is a congressionally
chartered volunteer youth group for young men & women aged 14
through 17 years old. The NSCC fosters good citizenship and an
interest and appreciation of our nation’s maritime services. Cadets
wear naval uniforms modified with the official NSCC insignia.
The Advanced Survival Training at Detroit Lake was a
pilot program to see offering if this kind of training as a two-week
summer training activity at the National level is feasible. Cadets
practiced drilling, conducted physical training, learned about
concealment and cover, patrolling safely and quietly in a simulated
hostile environment, as well as radio communication skills. Most of
the instructors were ex Army Rangers, Army Special Forces, or Navy
Seals.
Auxiliarist John Jones (LTJG, USNSCC), Flotilla 73, was
the Executive Officer and Training Officer for the advanced survival
training. John was responsible for planning and coordinating the camp
and its training and personnel.
