you may wish to be more vigilant in the future. Do not assume all individuals seen in public wearing Department of Defense (DOD) ribbons and/or medals in public venues such as parades, air shows, military museums, military celebrations, welcoming home deployed military veterans, etcetera, are legitimate.

If, in future you suspect someone is in violation of the STOLEN VALOR ACT, and if you so wish -  do the following by being courteous and ask the individual for their name and take photographs with cell phone camera. At this time you could walk to another nearby location and write down the date, time, location, circumstances and possibly notify local law enforcement with a report of suspected violation of “Stolen Valor Act”.
Remember phony-wannabees may do this for self aggrandizement and/or to raise donations from the public for obvious means of increasing or garnering of funds for themselves.

Pseudologia fantastica, mythomania, or pathological lying, is one of several terms applied by psychiatrists to the behavior of habitual or compulsive lying.  It was first described in the medical literature in 1891 by Anton Delbrick.  Although it is a controversial topic, one definition of pathological lying is the following: "Pathological lying is falsification entirely disproportionate to any discernible end in view, may be extensive and very complicated, and may manifest over a period of years or even a lifetime."...today he's a pro photographer, tomorrow who knows what the day will bring...   D

NPRC Personnel

Many of the pages of material gathered here could not been accomplished without the hard work of the men women at the National Personnel Records Center.  There are many at NPRC who take our FOIA requests very seriously and provide a top product with carefully screened records and professionally assembled FOIA response packages (many  are scanned onto the website).

The FOIA responders are simply "doing their job" of course, but the workers at the records center do deserve recognition and acknowledgement for the service they provide so that we can continue our efforts to expose liars and frauds.

Without their efforts, the much faster response times, and the information we receive - we could not uncover the lies we do as timely as we do.

We're grateful for their help and assistance in these cases.

Why do we expose those that lie?
Take a good look at this picture and then tell us an individual has a constitutional right - "Freedom of Speech" -
to say he earned a Purple Heart when he did not.
